This 2 days Uganda gorilla safari will take you to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. This gorilla safari is intended for individuals looking to go for a gorilla tracking safari but with limited time stay in Uganda. Our 2 days Uganda gorilla safari will start from Entebbe airport or Kampala city and end at Entebbe airport or Kampala city. However, you may request to be to start and end in Kigali city or Kigali airport.
Day 1; Picked up from your hotel around Kampala/Entebbe or Entebbe airport – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park
On this day you will be picked from any hotel in Kampala/Entebbe or Entebbe international airport to start your Uganda gorilla safari to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park. The journey will take you south west of Uganda across equator with an en-route stop Kayabwe Equator point for the exciting water experiment showing the movement of forces where the two hemispheres divide. Later, leave equator and continue with your drive passing Ankole villages and local farms with their long horned cattle and dotted savanna vegetation. Have another stop for lunch in Mbarara city and drive straight to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park to check in at your reserved lodge to relax later have dinner and an overnight.

DAY 2; Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park – Morning gorilla tracking – Return to Kampala or Entebbe international airport
After having your heavy morning breakfast with your packed lunch and bags ready packed in your vehicle, transfer to the park information center for briefing about the dos and dots during gorilla tracking. Later, start your guided mountain gorilla tracking walk. Looking for the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat may take between 2 – 8 hours depending on the gorilla family that you are located so, one has to prepare for both. During gorilla tracking, you will encounter other wildlife species such as many bird species, Black-and-white colobus monkeys, bush pigs and many others and your ranger guide will capable to provide information about them making your trip so adventurous and interesting. Once you meet your mountain gorilla family, you will spend one hour of following, observing and capturing photos of mountain gorillas as you would want then return to park information center to pick your certificates, enjoy your packed lunch and start your drive back to your hotel or residence in Kampala or Entebbe international airport to meet your return flight.
