Day 1; Kampala/ Entebbe international airport – Visit to Nyero rock paintings – Drive to Sipi falls

After enjoying your early morning breakfast at your hotel/resident or on your arrival at Entebbe international airport will meet our company representative who will be your driver guide for a briefing about of your 3 Day Sipi Falls Hike and Jinja Whitewater Rafting Uganda Safari and later begin your drive to Eastern Uganda to explore Sipi falls Nyero paintings and whitewater rafting. On your to Sipi falls, you will an en-route stop at Sezibwa fall to see the Sezibwa falls which are to be that they were born by a woman, believed to have spiritual powers which attracts many people to visit them to ask for blessing from ancestors and very important to the kingdom of Buganda. After seeing Sezibwa falls, proceed with your drive through tea and sugarcane plantations alongside the road, pass by Jinja city and continue driving far eastern Uganda with an en-route stop at Mbale city to stretch your legs after a long drive, have lunch and then proceed with your journey to Nyero rock paintings. Nyero rock paintings are found in a small village called Nyero, these rocks were described by UNESCO as three tiered rock shelters with primitive beautiful art paintings on their inner surfaces. It believed that these paintings were by the late ancestors of Nyero village which are said to be the Batwa, a pygmy tribe that are no longer existing in this place. The paintings are believed to be done in the 1250 AD during the Stone Age era meaning that they have lived over 750 years ago. After exploring the Nyero rock paintings, drive to Sipi falls in Kapchorwa district to check in at your reserve lodge to relax, dinner and an overnight.

Day 2; Sipi Falls – Morning hike to explore the falls – Travel to Jinja city – Visit the source of river Nile

After enjoying your fantastic breakfast, leave your lodge and go to start your hike to the 3 waterfalls of Sipi. The Sipi has three spectaculars falls with one 100 m, second 85 m and the third one 75 m so, hiking to all the 3 falls will give you a lovely visit of  the low land plains and Mount Elgon. Hiking up to the falls is so sweating but you will be cooled by the breezes and splashes of the falls, you will have a best scenic moments of the sun rise. After enjoying the falls, return to your lodge to check out and embark on your drive to Jinja to explore the source of the river Nile, Samuka Island and whitewater rafting with an en-route stop at Mbale city to have lunch. Then proceed with the drive to check in at your reserved hotel in Jinja to relax, have refreshments and later go to explore the source of the river Nile using a boat from shores to the exact point where it separates from Lake Victoria. After seeing the source of the world’s longest river, if time allows, visit Samuka island the breeding places to most of the species around Lake Victoria for birding watching. Dinner and an overnight.

Day 3; Jinji city – Full day whitewater rafting – Return to Entebbe airport / Kampala

After having your heavy breakfast, leave the hotel with all your bags and drive to the meeting point to join other rafters for briefing about safety standards and how to carry out the activity. Then get your life jacket, hard helmet and then start your full day whitewater rafting on the river Nile which is the most spectacular river in Africa for the best whitewater rafting experience with high rapids of grade 4 and 5, have short break to have lunch and then continue with your day activity. After your day activity, leave Jinja and drive to Entebbe international airport to end your 3 Day Sipi Falls Hike and Jinja Whitewater Rafting Uganda Safari or drop off at any hotel in Kampala city or your residence.
