Day 2; Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National – Mountain gorilla habituation
On this day, enjoy your morning fantastic breakfast and drive to the park headquarters to join others for briefing about dos and don’ts during mountain gorilla habituation experience. After briefing, you will begin your forest guide walkby your UWA ranger guide and other researchers to look for the mountain gorillas. During your guided forest walk, you may meet other wildlife species such as different bird species, other mammals and primates and your guide will be able to give you information about everything that you will encounter. Once you meet mountain gorillas,you will spend four hours of watching, following their moves and photographing them. This walk will give you an outstanding experience of watching researchers naming group members, making calls with gorillas and collecting research samples from them. After spending four hours with mountain gorillas, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight.
