East Africa is a good year-round travel destination, but the rainy seasons (March to May and Mid October to early December) can make logistics a little tricky. Rain increases the difficulty of tracking in Bwindi and Mgahinga rendering the mountain slopes muddy. The high season for Uganda safari falls in line with other East African destinations and it happens from June to October and late December to February.
