This 7 days wildlife, gorilla and chimpanzee trekking safari will take you to Lake Mburo national park for evening and night wildlife sighting game drive, horseback riding, Queen Elizabeth national park for wildlife sighting game drive, boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel, visit Ishasha sector for search for the tree climbing lions, Bwindi impenetrable forest national park for the magical mountain gorilla trekking and Lake Bunyonyi for canoeing.
Day 1; Entebbe international airport – Drive to Kampala Capital city
On your arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will meet our company representative at the airport waiting lounge who will welcome you and thereafter drive you to booked hotel in Kampala the capital city of Uganda to check in at your reserved hotel, relax and then be briefed about your 7 days Uganda wildlife, gorilla and chimpanzee trekking safari. If time allows, you will go for evening Kampala city tour to explore Kampala’s best sights such as Uganda national museum, Old Kampala mosque (Gaddafi mosque), the Kasubi tombs, Kabaka’s palace and Amin’s torture chambers. Day 2; Kampala city – Lake Mburo national park – Evening game drive – Night game drive
After having your fantastic breakfast, meet your driver guide at the hotel reception to embark on your drive to Lake Mburo national park in western Uganda with an en-route at Kayabwe Equator landmark to watch water experiment, take memorial photos and have a cup of cup coffee and then proceed with your drive through the exceptional landscape made of open grasslands, Ankole long horned cattle and indigenous people working on the farms, banana plantation and doing other jobs like raying bricks then arrive at Lake Mburo national park to check in at your reserved lodge, have lunch, relax and later go for your evening game drive to encounter a variety of wildlife in this park. Lake Mburo national park is a home base to over 68 mammals such as Zebra, Rothschild giraffes, Elands, Impala, Caped buffaloes, Topis, Bushbucks, Warthog, Spotted hyena, Jackal, Leopards and some primates and about 315 bird species such as African Finfoot, the rare Shoebill Stork, Paprus yellow warbler, Saddle billed stork, Carruther’s cisticola, Brown chested wattled plover, Great snipe, Abyssinian ground hornbill, African fish eagle and many others. After a short break and then go for your adventurous night game drive to search for nocturnal mammals and birds species which are hard to meet during day time like Leopards, spotted hyenas, African rock python, Bush baby, Bush pigs and Pottos and many more. Day 3; Lake Mburo national park – Horseback riding – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park –Kasoga community tour
Rise up early morning to have breakfast and go for a unique experience of horseback riding in the wilderness. Lake Mburo national park is the only park in Uganda where you can enjoy horse riding while viewing wildlife and exploring the beauty of the national park. It is a very breathtaking experience that will offer you a new style of seeing wildlife such as Zebras, Elands and many others from a closer distance without getting scared of you but rather coming closer to you as they are curious to see their close relatives without black and white stripes. During your horseback riding, you have to keep your camera on set such that you can capture all your best moments. Later, after your horseback riding safari, return to your lodge to have full set of breakfast and then embark on your drive to Queen Elizabeth national park. On your arrival at the park, check in at your booked lodge to have lunch, relax and then visit Kasoga community in Queen Elizabeth national park. Kasoga Community Experience is one way for you to get in touch with the indigenous people while on your wildlife to Queen Elizabeth national park that will expose you to know how local people stay co-currently with wildlife, explore their life style and how they carry out their daily work without the use of modern technology such as fishing, preserving fish, marine, canoeing and many others which rewards an ultimate African culture experiences. Day 4; Queen Elizabeth national park – Chimpanzee tracking at Kalinzu Forest – Afternoon boat cruise –Evening game drive
After have your breakfast, meet your drive guide and drive to Kalinzu forest reserve for chimpanzee trekking safari. On your arrival at the forest office, you will be briefed about the dos and don’ts to follow during chimpanzee trekking safari. Kalinzu forest reserve is a home to a variety of wildlife species such as over 379 bird species, six primate species include Olive baboons, Chimpanzee, Blue monkeys, L’hoest monkeys, Red tailed monkeys, Vervet monkeys and Black and white Colobus monkeys, about 261 butterfly species, reptiles, 98 moth species and over 414 tree species have been were recorded in this forest. During your guided walk in search for the intelligent chimpanzee,on our chimpanzee trekking safari your guide will give you much information about everything that you will encounter. Once you meet chimpanzee, you have a maximum of one hour to watch them, taking photos and asking as many questions as you would want. Later return to your lodge to relax, have lunch and go for your afternoon boat launch on the Kazinga channel which links Lake George and Edward. While boat cruising, you will see a big number of aquatic animals such as Nile crocodiles, hippopotamuses and kazinga channel is well-known to have the highest concentration of hippos in Africa, you will see many bird species like herons, kingfishers, marabou stork, other land mammals when they have come to swim and drinking water such as Caped buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, Elephants, waterbucks and many others which will make your trip so exciting. Have a short break to relax and head for your evening game drive to search for mammal wildlife species. Queen Elizabeth national park inhabits over 95 mammals which include prides of health Lions, huge Elephants, Uganda Kobs, herds of Caped buffaloes, Forest giant hogs, Warthogs, Leopards, spotted hyenas and many others plus over 600 recorded bird species. Day 5; Queen Elizabeth national park – Morning Game drive – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Have your heavy breakfast, check out and go for your morning game drive at Kasenyi track which is known to be the meeting ground for and hunting ground for predators. This game drive, will give you a chance to encounter those wildlife mammals and birds that you could have missed during your evening game drive like Lions, Warthogs, Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, Buffaloes,  Elephants and then start your drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park with an en-route game drive through ishasha sector in the southern part of the park to search for the tree climbing lions, Topis, have lunch and later drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park a home to half of the world’s remaining population of mountain gorillas, about 120 mammals and 350 bird species. Bwindi impenetrable forest national park inhabits approximately 600 mountain gorilla individuals and about 19 well habituated gorilla families. Day 6; Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park – Mountain gorilla trekking – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
This day after enjoying your early morning breakfast, meet your drive guide and go to the park information center to be briefed about the guidelines to follow during mountain gorilla trekking, get your group and then setoff for the forest walk to search for the mountain gorillas. In the course of mountain gorilla trekking, you may encounter other wildlife species and your guide will give information about everything that you will encounter that will make your walk so adventurous. The time taken during mountain gorilla trekking is not known but expected to be between 30 munities to 6 hours walk in the forest. When you meet mountain gorillas, you spend a maximum of 1 hour with them following their moves, taking as many photos as you would want and asking questions. Mountain gorilla trekking is one of the breathtaking wildlife experience in Uganda for life time. After them, return to the starting point to pick your trekking certificate, have refreshments, lunch and then drive to Lake Bunyonyi to spend your evening relaxing while canoeing and Bird watching. Lake Bunyonyi is one the best place for swimming since its water is bilharzia and has no dangerous aquatic animals. Dinner and an overnight

Day 7; Lake Bunyonyi – Morning boat riding – Drive back to Entebbe international airport
After having your morning breakfast, go for a morning boat riding on Lake Bunyonyi to explore some of the beautiful Islands of the lake with the most exciting stories such as Akampene Island (Punishment) where the Kiga people used to punish girls who were found pregnant before marriage by leaving them there to death, Kyahugye Island, Bucuranuca Island and many others that whose stories will excite you. Return to your lodge, pick your bags and then start your return drive to Entebbe international airport with an en-route stop at Kayabwe equator landmark to have lunch, shop some souvenirs and then drive straight to Entebbe airport to meet your return flight with great experience of wildlife and Mountain gorillas in Uganda.
