The 3 days Bwindi mountain gorilla tracking flying safari is made for people who want to encounter mountain gorillas in Uganda but do not like long hour’s road drive. So, you will use a domestic charter flight from either Entebbe international airport or Kajjansi airstrip to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. Bwindi impenetrable forest national park has the biggest population of mountain gorillas with over 459 mountain gorilla individuals out of 1063 gorillas that are expected to still remaining in the world following the recent mountain Gorilla Population Census.
Day 1: Entebbe International airport – Transfer to your Hotel
On this day our company representative and your safari driver will be waiting for you at Entebbe international airport to receive you and transfer to your reserved hotel in Entebbe town to check in and briefing about your gorilla tracking safari. Depending on your arrival time, you many visit Entebbe botanical gardens for a simple evening nature walk and bird watching. Dinner and an overnight

Day 2: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park – Evening Batwa experience
After early breakfast, your driver guide will pick you from your overnight hotel to either Entebbe airport or Kajjansi airstrip for your transfer to Kihihi airstrip where you will meet another driver guide from Africa Adventure Vacations to welcome you and drive you to check in at your reserved lodge and briefings. Have lunch and later go for Batwa community tour. Batwa pygmy people are the ancient indigenous people around Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park who used to serve on the forest and it’s in wildlife species through hunting small game and gathering plants for both medicine and food purposes. This walk to the Batwa communities will expose you to firsthand information about the park and its wildlife inhabitants, they also have good stories about their life style and entertaining cultural performances. Dinner and an overnight.

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park – Morning mountain gorilla tracking – Return to Entebbe international airport
Wake up very in the early morning to have breakfast and get your packed lunch and then your guide will be ready to take you to the park meeting point for briefing and guidelines to follow during mountain gorilla tracking walk, later start your exciting mountain gorilla tracking. During your forest walk while looking for mountain gorillas, you may encounter other wildlife species because this park is a home to over 120 mammal species, 220 butterfly species, 348 bird species, 27 frog species, chameleons, geckos and many other endangered species and your guide will be in position to give you information about anything that you will come across during your walk. It is 95% guaranteed to see mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park. After finding them, you are allowed to spend a maximum of one hour of watching them, following their moves and capturing memorial photos as you would want therefore, you have to keep your camera on standby such that you do not miss out any moment with mountain gorillas not captured but always follow guidelines from your ranger guide. After 1 hour of watching gorillas, return to the park office to relax, enjoy your packed lunch and drive to Kihihi airstrip for your return flight back to Entebbe international airport or Kajjansi Airstrip to meet your return flight.
