When going for the gorilla trek, you need prepare a daypack bag which is include at least 2 liters of Water, a few snacks, packed lunch, some insect repellent to protect against the flies.  These are the most important thing to keep your body physically fit along the Trails.

Before starting gorilla trek walk, you need to hire a porter to help you carrying your daypack during the forest walk in search for the mountain gorillas. Carrying the daypack by yourself may get you tired which can affect your physical fitness level during gorilla trekking walk. The distance covered during gorilla trekking is unpredictable since Mountain Gorillas are wild animals and the forest is their natural habitat therefore, no one can tell their movements all the time and their movements are influenced by several factors such as searching for food, fear more especially when one family fights with another family and they have to travel for some long distances among others to be safe. So, this can make family which was nearer yesterday to be far away the next day which can make your hike before meeting them long.
