Day 1; Arrival at Entebbe international port – Drive to Kampala city for a night

On your arrival at Entebbe international airport, our company representative who will be your driver guide will warmly welcome you for a transfer to Kampala city to check in at your reserved hotel, briefing about your 7 days chimpanzee & gorilla trekking and golden monkey experience safari in Uganda. Later, have dinner and an overnight. If time allows, your driver guide will take you for an evening Kampala city tour to explore some the historical places of Uganda such as; Kabaka’s palace (Twekobe) and Amin torture chambers, Old Kampala mosque to have a great view of the entire Kampala and Uganda national museum to know much about Uganda. Dinner and an overnight.

Day 2; Kampala city – Transfer to Kibale Forest national park – Bigodi swamp evening nature walk

After having your early morning breakfast, you will meet your driver guide at the reception to start drive to Kibale Forest national park. Kibale forest National Park is one of the best safari destination in Africa for primate safaris mostly chimpanzee tracking. It is a home to great 13 primate species such as Chimpanzees, bush babies, olive baboons, black and white colobus, LHoests monkeys and many others among others. You will have an en-route stop to have lunch and then go to check in at your reserved lodge and later go to Bigodi sanctuary swamp for an evening nature walk. Bigodi sanctuary swamp is an area with great biodiversity it provides residence to over 200 bird species such as elusive Great Blue Turaco, the crested crane and many others and is a beloved feeding ground for 8 primate species including blue monkeys, olive baboons, grey L’Hoest monkeys, cheeked mangabeys, red colobus monkey, vervet monkey, red tailed monkeys, chimpanzees, and the black and white colobus monkeys. The Bigodi sanctuary nature walk may give an opportunity to meet other wetland wildlife species such as wild pigs, mongooses, some antelopes and many others. After your evening nature walk, return to your lodge to relax, dinner and an overnight.

Day 3; Kibale Forest national park – Chimpanzee tracking – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park

On this day after morning breakfast, meet your drive guide at the reception and transfer to the park information office for briefing about the guideline to following during chimpanzee trekking. Later, start your guided forest walk to search for chimpanzees. During chimpanzee trekking, you may encounter other wildlife species like other primates, many bird species and butterflies and your UWA guide will be able to give you information about everything that you will encounter which will make your walk so interesting. When you meet chimpanzees, you will have a maximum of one hour of watching them engaging in their daily activities such as feeding, playing in the branch of trees. Meeting face to face with the chimpanzees is the most trilling an unforgettable experience so, you have to prepare your camera such that you do not miss any moment un captured. Later, return to the starting point to have lunch and embark on your drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park via Queen Elizabeth national park so, by chance you may encounter elephants, warthogs, bush bucks, Uganda kobs on the way and your will be able to talk about everything that you will meet. Bwindi impenetrable forest national park is a home to half of the world’s remaining population of mountain gorillas. Once you arrive at Bwindi impenetrable forest national park, check in at your lodge to relax, dinner and an overnight.

Day 4; Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park – Mountain Gorilla Trekking – Transfer to Mgahinga gorilla national park

Get up early in the morning to have breakfast and transfer to the park information center for briefing about the dos and don’ts during tracking later, begin your guided forest walk to search for the endangered mountain gorillas. During gorilla trekking, you may meet other mammals such as chimpanzees, black and white colombus monkeys, forest elephants bush pages and many forest birds. The time taken during gorilla trekking is not known but itcan take between 2 up to 8 hours so, it need an individual to be physically fit to manage the long distance walk through steep and muddy conditions. Once encounter them, you will have 1 hour of following their moves, watching their activities and taking as many photos as you would want. After you an unforgettable moments with mountain gorillas, return to the park office to pick your trekking certificate, enjoy your packed lunch and get in your vehicle for a transfer to Mgahinga gorilla national park. Mgahinga gorilla national park is found in the South Western Uganda part of the larger Virunga Conservation area that spreads over to three countries and is the Uganda’s smallest national park but with a lot of adventurous activities such as mountain gorilla trekking, golden monkey encounter, mountain hiking and Batwa trail experience. Upon your arrival at the park drive straight to booked lodge to check in and spend your evening relaxing. Dinner and an overnight

Day 5; Mgahinga gorilla national park – Golden Monkey Tracking – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After having your breakfast, set off to the park office to UWA ranger guide for briefing about the rules and regulations to follow during golden monkey tracking experience. Later, start your forest hiking to look for the beautiful golden monkeys that are normally found in the bamboo forest. On your walk to search for the golden monkeys, you might encounter other wildlife species such as bird species, buffaloes and forest elephants which will add on your adventure. After meeting golden monkeys, you will have 1 hour of watching them, taking photos and following their moves. After seeing golden monkeys, return to the starting point to have refreshments, lunch and drive to Lake Bunyonyi to spend your evening watching and canoeing.  Lake Bunyonyi is the Uganda’s deepest lake and said to be the second deepest in Africa and highly known for its fresh waters with moderate temperatures. Day 6; Lake Bunyonyi – Drive back to Entebbe international airport with a stopover at the Equator

Have your early breakfast, check out and start you drive back to Entebbe international airport. The drive will take you through Ankole region with their impressing long-horned Ankole cattle with an en-route stop to at the equator imaginary line for water experience, taking photos and have lunch and then proceed with your drive to Entebbe international airport for your return flight.
