Semuliki National Park Itinerary
Day 1, Kampala City – Transfer to Semuliki – Night game drive
Today after your early morning breakfast, your driver guide will be waiting for you to start your tour to Semuliki National Park which is approximately 6 to 7 hours on the road from Kampala. Have lunch along the way; later reach the park check in at the lodge for relaxation. In the evening go for a night game drive through the park and expect to watch out a number nocturnal mammals such as such as Hyenas, the slender mongoose, leopard and serval cat after this great safari return to your lodge. Day 2, Semuliki National Park – Morning Chimpanzee Tracking – VisitSempaya hot springs – Batwa evening tour
After your best breakfast, set out and go to the park information center for briefings about the dos and don’ts of chimpanzee tracking then start the forest walk in search for chimpanzees. The forest walk will be guided to provide information not only on chimpanzees and primates but also on small organisms making it more interesting and adventurous. Besides chimpanzees, other primates will like Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys, Olive baboons, and Vervet monkeys. Later, head back to your lodge to have lunch and refreshments and visit the Sempaya hot springs which are the most eye-catching attractions in Semuliki National Park. The springs have a fountain that shoots up from the 8 meters hole, and the water is at a high temperature and the most interesting part about these springs is that one can boil some eatables such as matooke and eggs in few minutes and be ready for consumption and are the largest hot spring in Uganda. Then go to Ntandi village for Batwa cultural visitto participate in their cultural dance as they will elaborate to you their life experiences in the wild. Then later you get to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3, Morning game drive – Return to Kampala City or Entebbe International Airport
Have a tasty breakfast at the lodge with all your bags ready and go for your morning game drive, your expectations should be high as you will have a great time when you meet different animals including leopards, buffaloes, antelopes, elephants, and among others. After your game drive, return to Kampala City for an extra night or straight to Entebbe International Airport to meet your return flight.
