Day 1: From Arusha, drive to Lake Manyara National Park.
This 4 Day safari to Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater will begin with a pickup from the Arusha hotel early in the morning, where our guide will pick you up to proceed with the wonderful safari to Lake Manyara National Park. The ground-forested area of the Acacia and Mahogany trees greets you as you enter the public park, setting the tone for what lies ahead. The game drive will last until late in the evening, with a brief stop for a barbeque lunch. On the game drive, look for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, primates, and blue monkeys. Tree-climbing lions are another feature of Lake Manyara National Park, but spotting them is a gamble. The lakeshore becomes pink in the right season, with a significant number of flamingos flocking to the area. Following the game drive, you will return to your camp/hold up, where a delectable supper awaits you. Accommodation is at Karatu Tented Lodge, with lunch and dinner served.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park’s Seronera Area to Lake Manyara
After breakfast, we drive to the Serengeti National Park, passing through Karatu’s picturesque highland farms and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We leave the highlands behind and descend into the Serengeti National Park, the heart of untamed Africa, with its vast grasslands stretching as far as the eye can see. We travel to the Seronera area of the central park, one of the park’s finest wildlife habitats, which includes the Seronera River, which serves as a vital water source for the area and hence attracts wildlife that is representative of the Serengeti’s species. We arrive in time for lunch and go on a wildlife drive in the Serengeti National Park in the afternoon. You’ll return for dinner and an overnight stay after your game drive. You will stay at Osinon Camps and Lodges where you will be served all your meals.
Day 3: Early morning game drives and Afternoon drives to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
After breakfast, you will go on a morning wildlife drive in Serengeti National Park. After that, take a picnic lunch to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest collapsed volcano crater, measuring fourteen kilometers in diameter and surrounded by natural splendor. The Ngorongoro Crater is ringed by extinct volcanoes, and its bottom, which is peppered with drinking holes, is home to 30,000 species. The day comes to a close with a hearty dinner and a restful night’s sleep in your lodging.
Day 4: Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater and return to Arusha
After a quick breakfast, you’ll make an early drop into the main floor at roughly 6:30 a.m. The world’s largest inert, perfect, and unfilled volcano crater is the Ngorongoro Crater. It has a large floor area of roughly 260 square kilometers and a depth of more than 2000 feet. The 5-hour game drive on the entire floor will reveal a plethora of animal activities. It’s always a good idea to have your camera ready. Elephants, bison, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions are all abundant in Africa. The slopes are forested at first, but the scenery gradually transforms into a savannah with the occasional acacia tree. The wildlife is incredible, and if you’re lucky, you might even see the big five animals, including lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and leopards. Warthogs, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and a variety of other animals live in the crater. You’ll encounter nearly every creature that lives on the east African savanna. We’ll descend to the 600-meter crater to see more animals, including lion pride, hyena clans, jackal packs, hippos, zebras, herds of wildebeests, elephant bulls with extraordinarily long tusks due to the highly nutritious grass rich in minerals, and many others. It’s also the best area in the world to see the endangered black rhino.
