It is a short safari for visitors who are in Tanzania for a conference or visiting friends but would like to have a look at the wildebeest migration. This 3-day Serengeti Great Migration Safari will guarantee you a strong and great wilderness safari experience that you will live to remember. Our 3 day Serengeti Great Migration Safari will not only lead you to see the wildebeest migration alone in the Serengeti National Park, but it will also lead you to see the great animal species of the Serengeti National Park, including the big five (lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, and rhinos), as well as other animals such as the zebras, cheetahs, and several antelopes. The Serengeti is the desert where you will often see the big five animals in the endless plains. This Serengeti Safari will start and end in Arusha Town.

3 Day Serengeti Great Migration Safari highlight

Day 1: Drive for about 7 hours from Arusha to Serengeti National Park.
Day 2: A full-day safari in the Serengeti National Park to see the wildebeest migration.
Day 3. Return to Arusha

Day 1: Drive for about 7 hours from Arusha to Serengeti National Park.

After breakfast, you will meet our safari guide, who will give you a brief introduction to our three-day Serengeti Great Migration Safari while acclimating you to the Tanzanian environment. You will start the seven-hour drive to Serengeti National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Because this safari is basically for seeing the wildebeest migratory patterns, it is best that you take this safari in June, July, October, November, and December, when the wildebeest migratory patterns are beautifully taking place. Serengeti National Park, on the other hand, protects a diverse range of animals, including cheetahs, giraffes, birds, Thomson’s gazelle, lions, leopards, elephants, hippos, and baboons. Consider going on a walking safari through the park’s center sector if you arrive early. You will stay at Thorn Tree Camp in the Central Serengeti.

Day 2: A full-day safari in the Serengeti National Park to see the wildebeest migration.

After having the relaxed breakfast served by your hotel lodge, you will set off for the long-day or full-day game viewing safari in the Serengeti national park, where you will be able to see the wildebeest migration and other animals such as the zebras, the elands, the impalas, the Masai giraffes, the Thompson gazelles, the hartebeest, and several other cats, making life in the wild so much more enjoyable. After that, have a picnic lunch before going on a wildlife drive through the Serengeti Plains on your way to the Ngorongoro Crater. This is another wonderful place to go for a thrilling wildlife viewing adventure. There’s a chance you’ll see a lot of wildlife and a variety of birds. After that, return to the hotel for evening refreshment and an overnight stay at Thorn Tree Camp, Central Serengeti.

Day 3. Return to Arusha.

This is the last day of our 3 day Serengeti Great Migration Safari, whereby you will wake up early, have an early morning breakfast, and drive to the wilds of Serengeti National Park for the last game drive to capture the last wildlife moments, including those that you could have missed on the previous game drives. After that, you will drive straight back to Arusha, and this marks the end of your 3 day Serengeti Great Migration Safari.
