Day 1; Pick up from Entebbe airport /Kampala city or Kigali – Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

You will be picked from airport or any hotel by our company representative who will be your driver guide to start your 5 Days Gorillas and Chimpanzee Habituation Uganda Safari with a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park in the southwestern Uganda with a stops at the Equator crossing point to watch water experiment and to take some photos a proceed with the drive to have another stop for lunch at Mbarara city. You will later drive straight to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park the home to the half of the world’s remaining population of mountain gorillas where gorilla habituation experience is done. This journey will take you through Ankole region with their incredible long horned cattle and Kigezi rolling hills and valleys which referred to as the Switzerland of Africa. You will arrive in the evening to check in at your lodger for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 2; Bwindi impenetrable forest national park – mountain Gorilla habituation experience

Today wake up very early in the morning to have breakfast and meet your driver guide to head to the park information center to join other visitors for a briefing about dos and don’ts to follow during Mountain gorilla habituation  and what you should expect, this will be done by the UWA ranger guide. After the briefing, set off for your guide forest walk to meet the Gorillas family that is under habituation. Not likeusual Gorilla trekking, gorilla habituation offers an exclusive and educative experience about mountain gorillas and to spend more time of watching and following their moves. Mountain gorilla habituation grants clear opportunities to film and capture the perfect shots of the Gorillas. After your great mountain gorilla habituation, return to your lodger to spend your evening relaxing, dinner and an overnight

Day 3; Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park – Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After having breakfast, check out and drive to Kibale forest national park found in the western parts of Uganda. Kibale forest national parkis mostly known to have the highest concentration of primates in the world with over 13 primate species which include chimpanzees; our closest relatives with 98.8 human DNA. Therefore, besides chimpanzee, you will you will have a chance to meet other primates such as white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkey, blue monkeys, bush baby, olive baboons and some other mammal species such as buffaloes, bush pig, giant forest hogs, duiker, elephant many others. The drive to Kibale forest national park will take you through Queen Elizabeth national park which is endowed with good scenic geographical features, lush green savannah grasslands. On your arrival, you will check in at your reserved lodge to relax, have lunch and later go to Bigodi sanctuary swamp for an evening nature walk. There is no safari to Kable forest national park complete without Bigodi Sanctuary swamp evening nature walk, it is one of the best Jungle Swamp, not found elsewhere in East Africa, it is rich in Biodiversity with many unique trees, bird species, home to 8 primate species, plus variety of mammals such as the Semi-Aquatic, Otters,Sitatunga Antelopes and other wildlife all making it a must to Bigodi Sanctuary swamp for a nature walk.Go back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight

Day 4: Kibale Forest national park – Chimp Habituation experience

Wake up very early to have your breakfast, meet your guide to drive to the park headquarters for the pre-habituation briefing about the rules and regulations to follow during chimpanzee habituation and thereafter, start your forest walk to search your chimpanzee family to habituation with the help you’re your UWA ranger guides and other researchers for a chimp habituation experience. Going in the forest early morning, will enable you to watch the chimpanzees as they leave their overnight nests between and starting their hunt for food, breastfeed, patrol and the babies playing until it is time to build new nests. After your best life time experience with chimpanzees, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight

Day 5; Kibale Forest national park – Drive to Entebbe international airport

This day after your breakfast, set off to Entebbe international airport with an unforgettable experience about Uganda Mountain Gorillas and Chimpanzees in their natural habitats. This will be the end of your 5 Days Gorillas and Chimpanzee Habituation Uganda Safari.
