This 2 days Uganda wildlife safari to Lake Mburo national park will take you to explore Uganda’s smallest National Parks. Lake Mburo National park is one of the best parks for wildlife safari with over 68 mammal species including; buffaloes, bush pigs, leopards, and zebras as well as various bird species. It is more famous to have the largest population of Zebras and Impalas in Uganda. It is made of seasonal swamps, woody Savannah grassland that is dominated by acacia and Lakes.
Day 1; Pick up from your residence / Hotel – Transfer to Lake Mburo – Afternoon boat cruise – Evening game drive
After having your early morning breakfast, meet our company representative who will be your driver guide for briefing about your safari then start your road drive to Lake Mburo national park with an en-route stop at the Equator crossing landmark where the earth divides for water experiment and to capture some memorial photos then continue with your drive to Lake Mburo national park to check in at your reserved lodge, have lunch and later go for your afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo. During your boat cruising safari, you encounter numerous wildlife species such as Hippopotamuses, Nile crocodiles and many different bird species. After your boat cruising trip, have a short break and later go for your evening game drive to search for the big and small mammals of the park such as Giraffes,Zebras, Impalas, the sky Elands, Topis, Oribis, Caped buffaloes, Warthogs, Olive baboons, Vervet Monkeys and many others. Day 2: Lake Mburo national park – Morning horseback riding – Return to Entebbe international airport / Kampala city
After your early morning breakfast, leave the lodge for your early morning horseback riding. Lake Mburo National Park is the only park in Uganda where one can do a nature walk on horses that gives an unforgettable experience in the wilderness. Horseback riding in the Wilderness is one way to makes one to feel part of nature because there is no air and noise populations from engine and it is the best way to get closer to the most shy animals such as Elands and Zebras because they come closer to see their relatives without black and white stripes at the back which will give you a chance to see them closer to their feet and your will have an opportunity to take more clearer photos. After your two hours horseback riding, you will continue with a mid-morning game drive to search more for mammals and bird species. Later, return to your lodge to pick your bags and check out to embark on your return road drive to Entebbe international airport or your residence in Kampala and this will be the end of your 2 Days Lake Mburo Wildlife Uganda Safari.
