
Mara North Conservancy
Mara North Conservancy is the biggest and the largest conservancy found in Masai Mara National Reserve and it covers a total area of 69,160 acres of land and it is found in the Northern region of the Masai Mara National Reserve bordering its reserve.
The Mara North Conservancy forms the part of the of the greater Mara ecosystems that can be located in the Northwestern Zone which is known as the place harboring the leopards in a place called the Leopard Gorge or the Maternity center that is found and done for the big predators as this place provides the opportunity for the big cats to stand on the raised areas and give the advantage to the young ones of the leopards that are found of hiding into the caves of the hills, trained and then after transferred to the real wildness.
This Conservancy was formed in the year 2009 by the combined efforts of the over 800 Masai local people and over 12 major strong accommodation facilities.
The Mara North provides guests with a great wild experience for you to get the experience of the most remotes parts of the Kenyan parts of the bush and see the home of the permanent residents of the predators.
Masai Mara National Reserve is the home of the big 5 animals and these include the leopards, buffaloes, rhinos, elephants, zebras, hyenas, wild dogs, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, and many more animals.
The Loita Hills migration brings about many wildebeests in the Mara North Conservancy, especially in December. This gives the conservancy a lot of bio diversities which attracts several people to the Conservancy.

Scheduled or chartered flights are organized from Wilson airport with AirKenya and then the Safari link.
