Yes Bwindi impenetrable forest national park is very safe compared to most of the national parks in Uganda, you will be escorted by an armed ranger guide from Uganda wildlife authority to trek mountain gorillas and the forest is very safe to explore.
Bwindi impenetrable forest national park can only pose a threat during mountain gorilla trekking, gorillas are wild animals so you must be keen and follow all the gorilla trekking rules and regulations in order to avoid being attacked by mountain gorillas which can lead to serving injuries or even death.

Mountain gorilla trekking is not just an ordinary activity like but you must be physically fit to hike and find a mountain gorilla you want so you need to come along with garden gloves, waterproof hiking boots, raincoats, long-sleeved warm clothes, enough drinking water, insect repellents and energy-giving snacks among others. You are advised to book a gorilla permit in advance of 3-4 months before coming to visit the country.
