Exploring the Loisaba conservancy

Loisaba conservancy is one of the best conservancies in Kenya that was established in the 1970s, and it was the move to make sure the wildlife is sustainably managed in the region. The Loisaba Conservancy is the best safari destination that provides visitors with the highest quality of tourist experience, and it features several wildlife safaris and a very large cattle ranch, which has made the destination unique and unmatchable. The conservancy protects the best wildlife, especially those around the Laikipia, and this leads to the national park. This is so interesting and wonderful. It provides the local people with a lot of jobs and generates close to 400 million in annual revenue. These are taken to the surrounding communities and have helped them to create a powerful impact on the development of their areas, as well as ensure that the development of the area is heavily achieved.

The conservancy is located on one of Kenya’s most important animal migration routes. Every year, more than 800 elephants, numerous buffalo, and the rare Grevy’s zebra move across this region in search of greener pastures. Over 250 bird species and another 50 mammal species call the conservancy home. There are three lion prides, a small but expanding population of cheetahs, leopards, and a rare variety of wild dogs that were formerly thought to be extinct in most of Kenya. Loisaba is a working farm and an untamed life conservancy covering 57,000 acres in Northern Laikipia.

Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp is a cutting-edge and luxurious desert spring located in the Loisaba Conservancy in Northern Laikipia, surrounded by infinite stretches of beautiful savannah. This is one of our top camps for a liberal stay because it is both select and contemporary. Loisaba is a place where you should spend your vacation, with the air fragrant with vegetation, buzzing with the sound of numerous animals in the conservancy, and, of course, the unspoiled and relaxing extravagance lodges with an endless pool overlooking the skyline, giving you a view that you can only imagine in a fantasy. The majority of Laikipia’s properties are named after flowers or animals, but Loisaba adopted a different method. In the Samburu language, “Loisaba” means “seven sisters.” Loisaba Conservancy is a good location to go if you want to see wildlife, but it’s much better if you want to feel the force of space. It has plenty of room and a beautiful nighttime view of a pristine sky filled with stars.

In Loisaba, Kenya’s Laikipia level, lies one of the country’s most beautiful expanses of wilderness. This vast area contains a large number of private farm parts, but many farmers have recently torn down their fences to allow untamed life to roam freely in the conservancy, making Loisaba one of Kenya’s most notable natural life objections. During a game drive through the Loisaba Conservancy, one can expect to encounter a variety of wild animals, similar to those seen in many other large parks around Kenya and East Africa. In 2018, Loisaba had only one camp with its well-known “Starbeds,” which are rolled out around evening time for tourists to sleep under the stars.

Game drives, walking safaris, horseback riding, mountain biking, and village visits are all available at Loisaba Conservancy. If you want to see large cats, go on a game drive first thing in the morning. The wilderness areas surrounding the reserve are ideal for guided treks and walking safaris; the view is breathtaking, and if you visit before or after the periodic rains, the entire terrain transforms into a lush green carpet. If you have previous horseback riding expertise, you can ride among zebras, giraffes, and elephants. The Loisaba Conservancy collaborates closely with local communities to support infrastructure, health care, and education. Visit a local Manyatta village and spend the day with the locals.

You will enjoy the horse riding safaris in Loisobo. Experience the exhilaration of riding across the fields with a herd of zebras, strolling gingerly through a giraffe herd, or passing by a herd of elephants. It is possible to get unusually close to the wildlife while riding a horse, and our ponies and horses have all been raised in the bramble since birth, so they are very familiar with its presence. Prior to joining our group, you will be required to confirm your experience.

Spend an afternoon in our neighboring neighborhood visiting a traditional manyatta (village) and seeing the native way of life, watching them dance, and viewing some of their beadwork for a very unique cultural experience.
