Flamingo birds in Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park is known as the place that is widely known for flamingo birds these birds do stay on the Lake Nakuru because it is highly alkaline on the lake which favors the growth of algae on the lake and this is the food for the flamingoes. Millions of the flamingoes can be seen on the lake and sometimes making the lake look pink because of their pick color and we can say the flamingoes are the major tourist attraction in Lake Nakuru National Park and the one that tourists get so much interested to see whenever they come and visit the park.

The flamingoes that can be found on Lake Nakuru are both lesser and greater flamingos birds and the lesser flamingoes are always many as compared to the greater flamingoes. Rhinos In lake Nakuru national park

The sanctuary further protects the rare Rothschild’s giraffe and you can find this giraffe only in this National Park. The fencing of the whole park using the electric fence to scare away the poachers and keeping the animals inside the park gas played a great role in protecting the Rhinos found in this sanctuary.

Lake Nakuru
