Things to do in Tanzania during 2 Days safari lodge package.

As part of this quick safari package, you’ll first go to Tarangire National Park, where you can take in the views of the African Savannah filled with enormous baobab trees and possibly even follow some of the continent’s largest elephant herds. Tarangire is famous for its giant baobabs and jumbo herds, but there is more to see in the park than just those two things. The park is home to many migratory big game and small animals (that go between here and Manyara), as well as a large variety of birds, some of which are extremely uncommon and practically exclusive to this park, like the Ashy Starlings.

The oryx and the gerenuk are two further uncommon creatures. Buffaloes, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, impalas, dik-diks, leopards, gazelles, elands, hartebeests (Kongoni), and many other common creatures can also be seen. This brief Tanzanian safari will be spiced up at Ngorongoro with the opportunity to see all five of the Big Five in one day on the crater floor, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, the elusive leopards, and the uncommon black rhinos. This animal is one of several that live in the Ngorongoro Crater, which has the highest concentration of animals in a space that is only 16 to 19 kilometers across (diameter) at most. Day 1-Pickup from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for game drives.

Take a left at the Makuyuni intersection along the Arusha-Dodoma Highway towards Tarangire National Park. The trip there should take no more than two hours. Depart early from Arusha town at roughly 07.30–08.00 hrs. Once you arrive at the Tarangire park gate and your driver has taken care of the necessary paperwork, you almost immediately begin game drives to observe as many animals and bird species as you can. Your knowledgeable safari guide will take you to the greatest wildlife viewing locations in the park, such as the Tarangire River, a perennial river that serves as the park’s lifeblood by drawing animals to its banks year-round in search of water. Elephants, elands, wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, gerenuks, giraffes, and a variety of birds are expected sights. One of the picnic areas will be the location of lunch. Your guide will drive you to Karatu in the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and an overnight stay after you have left the park later in the afternoon. Spend the night at Country Lodge in Karatu or a comparable safari lodge.

Day 2. Tour the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and drive back to Arusha.

You should eat a very early meal this morning, or if you don’t mind, pack a breakfast and lunch, and then descend as early as 6:00 a.m. to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, the biggest uninterrupted caldera in the world. You will spend the entire day on game drives at the crater bottom looking for creatures that can be seen up close, such as leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and silver-backed jackals. If you’re lucky, you might even be able to see some endangered species, such as caracals, leopards, and black rhinos. Most likely, you’ll eat your picnic lunch at the Hippo Poolside Picnic Site, where you may also use the restroom, and then continue your afternoon wildlife drives as you leave the Ngorongoro Crater. Later on in the afternoon, you’ll travel up the crater rim before returning to Arusha town, where the safari comes to a close.
