This 4 Days gorilla trekking and Golden Monkey Habituation experience safari will take you to Mgahinga gorilla national park in southwestern Uganda for mountain gorilla trekking and golden monkey habituation experience. This will be an ultimate primate adventure safari where you will meet mountain gorillas and golden monkeys coexisting in one place. Golden monkeys are natives of the Virunga Conservation area which is consisting of Uganda, Rwanda and DR Congo and can be only trekked in Volcanoes National park in Rwanda and Mgahinga National park in Uganda. This safari can begin and end in Kigali airport or city
Day 1; Pick up from Entebbe airport / any hotel in Kampala – Drive to Mgahinga gorilla national park
On your arrival at Entebbe international airport or after your early morning breakfast meet our company representative who will be your driver guide for a meet and greet, briefing about your safari and later start your adventurous drive to Mgahinga gorilla national park with an en-route stop at the Equator imaginary line to watch Equator water experiment which shows clockwise and anti-clockwise movement of water in the northern and southern hemispheres respectively have a cup of coffee, proceed with your drive for another stop in Mbarara city to have lunch and later drive straight to Mgahinga gorilla national park to check in at your reserved lodge to relax, dinner and an overnight.

Day 2; Mgahinga gorilla national park – Mountain Gorilla Trekking
After having your early morning breakfast, meet your driver and transfer to the park information offices for the pre-mountain gorilla trekking briefing and registration. Later, go for your forest guided walk by a UWA ranger guide to search for the giant endangered mountain Gorillas. This walk will take you through the dense forest looking for the mountain gorillas and you may encounter other wildlife species such as chimpanzees, black and white colombus monkey, forest elephants and many bird species and your guide will be able to provide information about everything that you will encounter. Meeting mountain gorillas in their natural habitat is the most unique experience and once you meet them, you will have a maximum of 1 hour to watch how they carry out their daily activities, looking at the young ones playing, following their moves and taking as many photos as you would to want to keep memories. After you spending an hour with mountain gorillas, return to the park starting point to pick your receive your tracking certificate, have some refreshments and then transfer to your lodge to have lunch and spend your evening relaxing.

Day 3; Mgahinga gorilla national park – Golden Monkey Habituation experience
Rise up early in the morning to have breakfast and go back to the park information offices for another great day to engage in the process of habituating the beautiful endangered golden monkeys. These primates can only be found in the Virunga conservation area which is made up of Uganda, Rwanda, and D R Congo. Gold monkey habituation does not only bring you close to these beautiful creatures but also to have abundant time with them because during habituation when you meet them, you spend a maximum of 4 hours watching them and also it gives you a chance to know their real wild behaviors. After spending 4 hours with them, return to the park starting point to meet your driver guide and return to your lodge to relax. Dinner and an overnight

Day 4; Mgahinga gorilla national park – Return to Kampala/Entebbe airport or Kigali airport/City
This is the last day of your 4- Days gorilla trekking and Golden Monkey Habituation safari to Mgahinga gorilla national park.After your breakfast meet your driver to begin your return drive to Entebbe international airport /Kampala city or Kigali International airport or City. You will be dropped to the airport for your return flight or any at any hotel. On your return way, you will have an en-route to have lunch.
