The Tarangire Sopa Lodge houses about 160 guests and has 75 suites, each with carpets running from one wall to another. The room features a private parlor with a small bar; it features two king-size beds as well as enough space for an extra bed; an inside washroom with shaver attachments and a hairdryer; and a private verandah with stunning views of the baobab-dotted countryside. When is the best time to visit Tarangire Safari Lodge?

Tarangire Sopa Lodge is open all year and provides abundant game viewing opportunities in all seasons. Regardless, the best time to visit Tarangire is during the East African dry season (July to October), especially if you want to view a lot of ungulates (as of now, many ungulates in the more renowned Serengeti have relocated north to Kenya). Tarangire Sopa also provides ornithological trips, cultural performances, and visits to Tanzania’s Maasai tribe. Walking excursions and night wildlife drives are also available in the wider Tarangire Conservation Area, which borders the national park.
