The park is found in the southern part and is known for its diverse wildlife species. Because of the different visitors who have kept on increasing as they are visiting the park, various accommodation facilities have been set up to offer the guests the most comfortable accommodation facilities options, and now in this article, we look at where you can stay once you are on a safari to the Nyungwe forest national park. Rwanda’s most famous national park, Volcanoes National Park, is located in the country’s northeastern corner.

Aside from gorilla trekking, the park also offers Golden Monkey and Chimpanzee trekking, hiking in the Virunga volcanic group, which includes Mt. Bisoke, Mt. Karisimbi, Mt. Muhabura, and Mt. Sabinyo, and the Twin Lakes and Buhanga Eco Park.

Nyungwe National Park is well-known for its chimps and canopy walks, which are the most popular activities in the area. Chimpanzee trekking in the Nyungwe forest is an exciting and enjoyable activity since the forest is dense and you can hear the chimps from the beginning point to where you meet them.

Chimpanzees are extremely active animals that can be observed swinging from branch to branch, playing with their young, and adults fighting. Chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe Forest takes approximately 4 hours round trip and costs only US$90.

The canopy walk in Nyungwe Forest is the third best in Africa, and permits for international visitors are only US$60. This is an excellent activity for people seeking an adrenaline rush as well as those interested in birds and butterflies.

The bridge is 160 meters long and 70 meters above the ground. This hike begins at the Uwinka Center, with departure times at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Apart from the canopy walk and chimpanzee trekking, Nyungwe Forest National Park also offers other primate treks such as black and white colobus monkey trekking, blue monkey and gray cheek mangabey tracking, and all of these begin at the Uwinka reception, with permits costing $60 in advance. There are a variety of different activities available to international visitors.

Hiking at Ishi West Falls, the tea factory at Gisakura, and the Bugarama Hot Springs are all suggested. The hot springs have tremendous cultural importance and are only 6 kilometers from the Siamdongo Forest. The forest park charges $40 for guided nature hikes, $50 for bird watching, and $60 for a one-day Nile River hike.
