Itinerary for a 7-day safari in the Serengeti to see the wildebeest migration

Day 1: Drive from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Crater.

Drive to Serengeti National Park on Day 2

Day 3: Serengeti National Park, Western Corridor (full day)

Transfer to the Northern Serengeti National Park on Day 4

On days 5 and 6, you will spend the entire day in the Northern Serengeti National Park.

7th Day: Travel to Arusha

Day 1: Depart from Arusha for Ngorongoro Crater.

Your aide will pick you up from Arusha, and following a brief briefing, you will begin your journey from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has been referred to as the Garden of Eden by many travelers. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to around 500 bird species and over 25,000 animals. You will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, which is known for its large concentration of untamed life species as well as its breathtaking views of elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, hippos, gazelles, pronghorns, wildebeests, hartebeests, hyenas, impalas, elands, dik, kudu, and oryx, among others. Flamingos can also be seen around the shores of Lake Magadi, which is located in the pit and is a good bird-watching spot. For supper and a short stay, your assistant will drive you back to your lodge.

Lunch and Dinner Meal Plans

Day 2: Drive to Serengeti National Park

After a magnificent breakfast at the resort, drive to Serengeti National Park, which is known for the big five, the wildebeest migration, and spectacular wildlife watching. You will be driven to the lodge for supper and overnight accommodations in serengeti.

Spend the entire day west of Serengeti National Park on Day 3.

Following an early breakfast, you will spend the full day exploring the Serengeti National Park, including a morning game drive where you will pay special attention to wildlife species such as giraffes, zebras, gazelles, lions, leopards, and elands, among others. You’ll also pay close attention to the herds of wildebeest that roam the savannah fields. You’ll also have your lunch in the wild before heading out on another game drive to follow the herds of wildebeest. Later, your assistant will transport you back to your hotel, where you may relax in the comfort of your room while planning supper and a short visit.

Day 4: Drive to the Serengeti’s northern section.

You will eat in front of a crossing from the Serengeti National Park’s western section to the Serengeti National Park’s northern section. You’ll also go on a game drive to the Mara River, which is noted for its waterway crossings. Your aide will drive you to the lodge for meals and a short chat after your game drive.

Serengeti Simba Lodge is located in a convenient location.

Day 5 and 6: Serengeti Park for the entire day.

After breakfast at the hotel, your assistant will transport you to Serengeti National Park for a full day of exploring the savannah plains. You’ll also go on wildlife cruises across the recreation area, keep an eye out for wildebeest herds, and visit the Mara River, where waterways or rivers intersect. You’ll have lunch and then go on another game drive in Serengeti National Park. You will dine and stay for a little while.

Travel to Arusha on Day 7

You will dine as you prepare for your 7-hour journey to Arusha, where your aide will drop you off at your Arusha hotel or the airport, completing your Tanzania safari. The seventh day has come to an end. A Wildebeest Migration Safari in the Serengeti
